Christopher V. Davis is the pen name for my various writing, in particular sci-fi. While I also write contemporary fiction, I've enjoyed both reading and watching science fiction since my youth. I've decided to get busy writing some.
My motivation comes from the classics: Ray Bradbury, Frank Herbert and Jules Verne. In addition, Si-Fi moves from the Golden Age of Hollywood like War of the Worlds, Planet of the Apes, When Worlds Collide, Forbidden Planet and shows like the Twilight Zone. Modern authors and visionaries also influenced me: Philip K. Dick, Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Gene Roddenberry, Eric Kripke, Josh Whedon.
Futurecast is my first sci-fi novel. The Lofts my first contemporary. I have several others in the works as well.
I thank you for visiting my site. Please enjoy what I have to offer.

Short story Fortunate Son published on OMNI Reboot website!
Having been a huge fan of OMNI Magazine back in the 1980's, one of my lifelong dreams has been fulfilled: to have my name associated with Omni!
Update April 2018: OMNI Reboot is now Futurism and my story no longer appears there.
